Trillion considers artificial lift for production drilling offshore Turkey | Offshore

VANCOUVER, Canada — Trillion Energy International has issued an operations update for the SASB gas field in the Turkish sector of the Black Sea.

Calgary-based Frontier Project Solutions prepared a report on implementing artificial lift to address water loading issues.  Initially, Trillion will adopt two to three different approaches, starting with the Akcakoca platform. Casing Scraper

The next phase of SASB development in 2024 will include adding production from five further wells bringing the total number of producers to 11. These will target gas reserves via existing wells on the three tripods.

Initial analysis suggests at least two planned sidetracks would benefit from artificial lift and may therefore not have to be re-drilled.

Dissolvable Bridge Plugs Artificial lift, Trillion added, could deliver net savings of about $4 million per well. The company is also assessing the other proposed sidetracks for cost savings.
